DE is hiring a Warehouse Associate to work as part of a team in a local manufacturing company
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials, components, and supplies.
Pick, pack, and stage materials for production orders and manufacturing schedules.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management or ERP systems.
Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory audits.
Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Prepare finished goods for shipping, including labeling, palletizing, and documentation.
Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time material flow.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality control processes.
Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics role preferred.
Experience operating forklifts and using barcode scanners or ERP systems is a plus.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and walking for long periods.
Familiarity with inventory procedures and warehouse best practices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
