Job Description Job Title: Research Analyst

The Research Analyst is a dynamic role that requires a combination of software knowledge and the ability to analyze data. The individual should have a good knowledge of billing and revenue cycle operations along with excellent analytical skills.

Summary of Duties: The nature of this role is to support management and clients by researching, gathering and analyzing data to create reports, presentations and documents on a variety of topics.

Supervisor: Reports to the CEO.

Essential Functions:

  1. Takes complex problems and challenges, gathers data and insights and packages them into standard reports for management.
  2. Works independently to solve problems and gather data making sure that all data is actionable and properly qualified
  3. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel to create charts, graphs, and perform basic analysis of numbers and data.
  4. Understands complex systems and able to navigate through ambiguity to understand processes and procedures.
  5. Is an effective communicator and can translate ideas and thoughts into focused writing.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare presentations as needed.

Education: Associate degree in business or related field required, Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.

Skills/Experience:

  1. Advanced PC Skills in Microsoft office Excel and PowerPoint.
  2. Knowledge of business office procedures.
  3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  4. Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  5. A positive attitude.
  6. A strong desire to succeed.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Environmental/Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Occasional

over time may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.

Physical Demands: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard.
