DE is now hiring an Innside Sales Rep for a company in Volusia County.
The Manufacturing Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts by selling manufactured products to industrial, commercial, and OEM clients. This role requires a strong understanding of technical products, customer applications, and manufacturing processes to effectively present solutions, close sales, and support long-term customer relationships.
Respond to incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and web portals.
Provide product information, pricing, and availability based on customer needs and specifications.
Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and follow-up communications.
Enter and manage orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Assist outside sales representatives with customer requests and project coordination.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on product knowledge and customer application.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to verify product specs, lead times, and custom requirements.
Track order status, communicate updates to customers, and resolve order-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM system.
Support marketing initiatives by following up on leads, campaigns, and trade show contacts.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
2–4 years of inside sales or customer service experience (preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or technical sales).
Experience with industrial products or technical specifications is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport quickly.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, part numbers, and product documentation (helpful but not required).
Office-based position with frequent computer and phone use.
Standard business hours with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
